Herkimer is actually a rare, naturally doubly-terminated faceted quartz crystal with... and here comes the magic part... an exquisite two point, eighteen facet sparkling diamond-like shape with superb luster + clarity. An elegant cappuccino cord tied with precision for durability brings even more style to the party.
Discovered in the 15th century by the Mohawk tribe in the eponymous river that flows through north-central Herkimer County in New York state, it is estimated to be over 500 million years old. Commonly referred to as “The Stone of Attunement”, this wholly natural crystal is revered by devotees for its healing qualities.
Not incidentally, it's also just plain beautiful.
