  • What safeguards are in place to protect my personal/credit card data? Is the web server secure?

    Absolutely. Your online security and peace of mind is of paramount importance to us.

    To help ensure that your Firecracker shopping experience is safe and secure, all browsing and order functions ~ including multiple layers of firewalls & encryption technology ~ are automatically monitored throughout your visit and checkout process.

    Furthermore, our web host Shopify is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant and uses 256-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt and protect the data you send us over the internet.

    SSL is the technology used to establish an encrypted link between our web server and your web browser; it is the same maximum level of protection used by most major financial institutions around the globe. When the letters "http" in the URL address change to "https", secure SSL technology is active.

  • Will I be charged sales tax?

    Only on shipments to/within California. Since we are based in the beautiful Golden State, we are required by law to do so.

  • May I use more than one method of payment?

    At this time, you may only use one method of payment on a single order.

  • Can I include a personalized gift message with my purchase?

    Yes. Prior to checkout, review the "Gift Order?" section in your cart. Enter a personalized message, and we will print it out onto your lucky recipient's non-itemized -- as in, no prices showing -- gift receipt. Your name and address will also clearly be listed as the sender.

  • How do I know that Firecracker received my order?

    At the end of the checkout process, an online confirmation message will indicate that your transaction was successful. Shortly thereafter, you will also receive email confirmation of your order.

  • After my order is confirmed, when will it ship?

    In stock items are typically processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Custom items ~ such as those "Handcrafted to Order" ~ usually take a little longer. "Lead time" can be found in the "Shipping" tab on each product page.

  • Can I cancel my order?

    Contact our Help Desk right away. Once an order ships, it cannot be canceled.

Shipping & Delivery ( Index)

  • What are your shipping methods?

    All Firecracker orders ship via either USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Please be aware that multiple item orders may be fulfilled from several locations; i.e., your items may arrive separately.

    If applicable, rates are calculated based on the selected shipping method and weight/size of the items in your cart. For domestic orders, depending on the shipping destination and delivery method available to you at the time of purchase, one or all of the following options will apply:

  • Do you offer free shipping?

    For a variety of items, including all jewelry orders within the United States, you bet. More items are added to that list everyday, but no matter what... we always strive to offer you the most economical shipping rates possible.

  • Can Firecracker ship to multiple addresses within the same order?

    At this time, we cannot. To ship to multiple addresses, please place separate orders.

  • Can I track the status of my delivery?

    Yes. After your order leaves our warehouse and is in transit, we will send you an email update with carrier information & tracking number. Just click on the carrier link to check the estimated arrival date.

  • Does Firecracker ship to other countries?

    Yes. Oui. Ja. כֵּן. はい. Si. Please see International Shipping for details.

Returns & Exchanges ( Index)

  • What is your return policy?

    We firmly stand behind the quality of all our goods. Something wrong? We'll make it right.

    Most purchases fall under our general guidelines and are eligible for return/exchange within 15 days of delivery. Given the wide variety of artisans and small independents we work with, however, our policies sometimes vary from product to product. While we cannot accommodate every return -- for example, "Final Sale" and "Personal Care" items -- we value your business and will always be reasonable.

    To get specific return info about a particular item, simply click on the "Shipping + Returns" tab found on each product page. That way, you'll always know what's what prior to checkout.

    The following items are ineligible for return/exchange/refund:

    • Apothecary/Fragrance/Personal Care Items
    • Stationary/Paper Goods
    • Items specified "Final Sale"
    • Items specified "Made to Order" and/or "Personalized"
    • Shipping Charges (if applicable)
    • Paypal Fees (if applicable)
  • How do I initiate a return/exchange?

  • When will I receive my refund?

    Within 3-5 business days after your return arrives at the Firecracker warehouse and is inspected in accordance with our policies, you will receive an email update regarding your refund status. Credit is applied to your original form of payment; per your billing cycle, it may take up to 30 days to appear on your statement.

    Please note: Firecracker is not responsible for any loss/damage that occurs during return shipment. We recommend obtaining a "Shipping Receipt" for your own records and/or purchasing postal insurance.
