Founded by Mexico City-born designer and metalsmith Mónica Ruzansky, Aili (pronounced "Eye-lee") means "light" in Gaelic/Celtic. Scientifically defined as "the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes visible a form of energy", illumination in all its glory serves as the beating heart of her striking collection of contemporary jewelry:

It can start with an image in my head that I sketch by hand onto a blank, and I’m not always sure where it comes from... but generally I get inspiration from spending time in nature as well as playing with geometry.
