Meet the Designer

Born into a globetrotting Danish/Kashmiri family, designer Lena Skadegard's is revered by collectors worldwide for her exquisite hand-crafted, hand-tied 18k precious & semiprecious jewelry.

Known for creating sweeping and majestic palettes using untreated, organic gems and talismanic accents, her work mimics the rich colors found in nature to showcase the raw beauty of each stone she chooses.

Working with family workshops and women's collectives in Delhi, Lena's designs are hand-tied and beaded, resulting in a striking collection of necklaces and bracelets that are utterly unique in style.

My role is in the painterly decisions, exploring friendships amongst gems and stones, harmony amongst texture and shape, so that each collection relates to the last through echoes of color and detail. I love this process.
